Stefan Deuster (47), head of MAN Ferrostaal México, started his professional life with us as an apprentice. He returned to us after finishing his degree. He has known South America since 1985: first in Venezuela and later in Columbia as head of the subsidiaries in these countries. He has been living in Mexico for 16 years. The country still holds the same fascination for him as it did at the first day. It is the people there that matter to him, and he gets on well with them. He is very close to many of his customers, and sometimes they are much more than just business relations and become friends. When he talks about the time when he and his staff built the first MAN bus manufacturing plant in Mexico, one gets an impression of deep respect and gratitude for the great efforts and achievements his staff have made. His commitment to the country stems from his great persuasion: "Mexico is a dream come true for me."
