Same targets
In the Petrochemicals business unit we have been pursuing a business model for many years, which is as trend-setting as it is rare: within the framework of long-term partnerships we participate in the projects of our customers. We invest in the plants that we build as general contractors and thereby pursue the same goal as our customers. Disputes and claims are avoided in this way as are any potential areas for conflict between the involved parties. Instead of the primary maxim of minimising project costs, we are more concerned with keeping the overall costs of the entire life cycle of the plant low and keeping to deadlines and budgets.
This way the targets of our customers become our own ones. Our services don't stop with the expiration of the warranty period, but are designed to realise additional projects with our customers. In new projects we generally involve the same partners and suppliers with whom we have previously worked together successfully. This way reliable sub-contractors and suppliers also become partners in the long run.
