As one of the founders of modern coating technology, DRIAM today is the market leader in the development of large capacity coaters with perforated, multi-sided pans and a patented process of air guidance, utilizing ducts mounted on the outside of the pan. DRIAM is also leading in an area of high-volume coaters in various branches and has been offering state-of-the-art equipment for 30 years.

Founded in 1951 for the manufacturing of an automated welding system for spiral pipes for pipelines and automatic welding of automobile bodywork, the company established a name over many years exclusively as a machine designer. Later on, the branch Coating Technology developed into the major business of DRIAM. In our present position as a manufacturer of turnkey coating installations, we assist our customers in many branches to solve coating problems and offer our well-established technology. We are fortunate to have as our customers companies in the confectionery, pharmaceutical, chemical, detergent, fertilizer, agricultural seed and animal feed industry. We are a worldwide company represented on each continent, with subsidiaries in North America and Eastern Europe and also work closely with our licensee in Japan.

The major manufacturing program consists of the machine types DRIACOATER (perforated) and DRIAMAT (non-perforated) with batch capacities from 2 – 3800 liters as well as continuously operating machines DRIACONTI and DRIACONTI-T with batch capacities up to 1000 kg per hour.

The installation shown in the picture shows the latest gmp series, a machine which is particularly suitable for soft and liquid filled chewing gum and similar centres.
