Fully prepared for the future

Waldemar Gabriel is completing a dual studies programme with us. "It all began about a year ago," the student remembers. Since then, he has been studying Business Engineering at the Mannheim University of Cooperative Education. Every three months, Waldemar Gabriel swaps his books for a suit and tie to complete the practical phase of the programme at the company's headquarters in Essen. "The blend of theory and practice is ideal," enthuses Waldemar Gabriel. "There is a reference to the working world and I can quickly put into practice what I have learned in theory. This makes the course easier to understand."

Why Man Ferrostaal?

Waldemar Gabriel is open-minded and interested in other cultures, which is why he was interested in the international environment offered by MAN Ferrostaal. After all, the company is active in more than 60 countries around the world, and secondment to one of the international branch offices is a fixed part of the training. "It is a real opportunity to work abroad during my study programme. Intercultural skills are becoming more and more important in business - and at MAN Ferrostaal I get to acquire them alongside my study programme." At the same time, he was attracted by the real variety within the company. He doesn't yet know which area he wishes to specialise in but says "I am bound to find the right area for me in time." The course is already set: the BA students move through a wide range of different departments and business areas during their studies.
