Maintaining and continuously improving the quality of products and services we provide for our customers is one of our primary objectives. To this end, our quality management system (QMS) was set up along the lines stipulated by the DIN EN ISO 9001 standard and has been continuously improved ever since its introduction.
In 1997, a first move was made towards achieving this objective by obtaining the appropriate certification for part of the processes of Ferrostaal AG, Essen. This was followed in April, 2000 by the certificate being granted for the entire system, which was successfully extended to all operations of Ferrostaal AG, Essen.
In May 2003 Ferrostaal AG, Essen was successfully certified according to the DIN EN ISO 9001:2000 standard.
Thus Ferrostaal AG, Essen once again demonstrated the high and outstanding quality of its management processes and its system of continuous improvements.
